The EPC/DHHS mural is a community-based public art initiative that will create a meaningful, aesthetically imaginative, high quality mural that celebrates the diversity of Druid Hills High School.
The EPC/DHHS mural project is a collaborative effort of Emory Presbyterian Church, Druid Hills High School, and Twin Radius. A Steering Committee - comprised of stakeholders from the school, church, and greater community will develop a bold vision for the mural project through a process that includes engagement with the school’s student body, faculty and staff, School Advisory Board, EPC’s congregation, Druid Hills community stakeholders, and local arts professionals.
Beginning in 2018, Twin Radius will be seeking artists to provide conceptual design proposals for a mural enhancement project on the western wall of Emory Presbyterian Church’s education building. The project will also enlist the help of three students to be chosen by the DHHS art department to act as apprentices to the artist who will be chosen by a Selection Panel.
